Power & Construction Group, Inc. has an opening for a Experienced Operator in the Civil Division!
Salary Range: $25-$35/hr. depending on experience
Location: Marathon, NY
Position Summary
- Operators will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment including back hoes, excavators, loaders and skid steers to support our civil construction projects.
- This is a TEMPORARY position.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of construction equipment safely and proficiently.
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance on equipment and tools.
- Perform carpentry and laborer tasks as required
- Report directly to job site on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Must be able to demonstrate skills in the safe operation and daily preventative maintenance of backhoes, excavators, loaders, and skid steers.
- Have no lifting or physical restrictions.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with the public and Clients.
- Work outdoors year-round in all types of weather
- Demonstrate safe and proper use and maintenance of all company tools and equipment.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
- Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.
- Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required
