Power & Construction Group, Inc. has an opening for an Entry Level Commercial / Industrial Electrician with the Industrial Electric Division!
Salary Range: $20-$30/hr. plus prevailing wage opportunities
Location: Rochester, NY
Primary Function and Scope:
Electricians work with Master Electrician to repair and install new and old electric service to commercial customers in throughout Western New York
Requirements:
- Have at least two years of electrical experience in commercial / industrial setting
- CDL a plus
- Comfortable working from heights
- Have mechanical aptitude and can work with their hands
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Is a strong team player
- OSHA 10 certification
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
- Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.
- Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required
- Cannot have a fear of heights
Any offer of employment is contingent upon passing a DOT Physical, drug screen, background check and driver’s license check, and candidates must maintain passing results throughout the term of employment with P&CG.
