Power & Construction Group, Inc. has an opening for a Laborer with Valley Sand and Gravel!
Salary Range: $17-$19/hr.
Location: Caledonia, NY
Primary Function and Scope:
The laborer will perform daily maintenance of production plant including greasing, check guarding, belt tracking, and cleanup. Reports any irregularities to Superintendent. Loader operating. General labor including shoveling, hand loading. Performs general cleanup of aggregate plant and assists in various laborer duties as assigned to ensure plant success.
Requirements:
- Shovel, sweep, lift and climb within the yard
- Maintain the yard and plant, keeping it neat and free from debris
- Assist plant operators with maintenance duties, greasing, plant repairs, etc.
- Operate water trucks
- May be trained to operate forklift, loader, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Compensation: $17-$19 per hour
Any offer of employment is contingent upon passing a DOT Physical, drug screen, background check and driver’s license check, and candidates must maintain passing results throughout the term of employment with P&CG.
