Power & Construction Group, Inc. has an opening for a Laborer with Valley Sand and Gravel!
Salary Range: $20-$22/hr.
Location: Caledonia, NY
Position Summary:
The Laborer will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the production plant, ensuring its optimal functioning and cleanliness. Reporting to the Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in supporting plant success through various laborer duties.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily maintenance tasks, including greasing, checking guarding, belt tracking, and cleanup.
- Report any irregularities to the Superintendent promptly.
- Operate loaders and engage in general labor tasks such as shoveling and hand loading.
- Conduct general cleanup of the aggregate plant to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Assist in various laborer duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License required.
- Ability to shovel, sweep, lift, and climb within the yard.
- Maintain the yard and plant, ensuring it is neat and free from debris.
- Assist plant operators with maintenance duties, including greasing, plant repairs, etc.
- Operate water trucks and may be trained to operate forklifts, loaders, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Any offer of employment is contingent upon passing a DOT Physical, drug screen, background check, and driver’s license check.
- Candidates must maintain passing results throughout the term of employment with P&CG.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
