Underground cable crew laborers perform various tasks related to electric cable installations and maintenance. This includes pulling de-energized primary electric cable, setting transformers, and terminating GIS switch gear.
Five years of experience in underground primary distribution work.
CDL-B or CDL-A required.
Experienced Qualified Laborer (Gas Division)

The gas division performs installations and maintenance of gas mains, services, and regulator stations. We are looking for people in Clarence, Rochester, and the Southern Tier areas.
Manual labor, including but not limited to digging with a hand shovel or bar to expose live utilities, heavy lifting, climbing in and out of trenches
OSHA 10 Certification a plus, will train
Utility Structures Laborer (Utility Structures Division)

Power & Construction Group, Inc. has an opening for a Utility Structures Laborer within the Utility Structures Division!
Laborers work to inspect, maintain and repair a variety of electric utility structures, such as transmission towers. Tasks include clearing vegetation, conducting small repairs and some preventative maintenance, such as painting. Laborers also work to maintain company equipment in working order.
Laborers report to our headquarters each Monday morning and are then assigned to a job location for the week. Laborers then use company vehicles to travel to various job sites across New York State, returning to the shop on Friday afternoons.
Extensive physical labor required, including digging with a hand shovel or bar, heavy lifting, handling forms, placing concrete, and assisting welders in fabrication.
